Whether you’re new to fountain pens and inks or a hardcore pen and ink lover, I hope this site is fun and informational, and that it inspires you to keep exploring the wonderful world of inks and pens.

Color is such an important and powerful part of how we experience and interpret the world around us. Marketers understand well that color can influence thought and behavior. Artists and designers know that it has the power to shape emotion and forge opinion. The right ink can energize a tired mind and brighten a gloomy mood.

There are so many beautiful inks available from every corner of the world. I love exploring new inks, and new brands, and introducing people to fresh and exciting selections. I also try to include the more well-known brands and inks that are popular for good reasons.

I always talk about both the good and the bad, and I try to provide the kind of information that I’d want as a consumer. Most of the pens and inks I’ve purchased on my own. Some have been gifted by brands (I always mention this in the reviews), but that doesn’t influence my reviews in any way. These reviews are my personal, honest opinions.
