3 Oysters Delicious Blue - Ink Drop

This is Delicious Blue from 3 Oysters’ Delicious series of inks. 3 Oysters makes some really interesting, and quite beautiful inks. Based in South Korea, they use lovely, traditional Korean imagery on many of their bottles, and as an influence in many of their inks’ names. I love the aesthetic that guides the company, and their creations.

3 Oysters Delicious Blue - A beautiful, bright, true blue!

Delicious Blue is exactly as described! It’s a nice, rich, vibrant blue. The ink provides a good amount of shading, and written strokes are clear, and well-defined. I’ve used it on a number of different grades of paper and have found it to be very consistent, with no hint of feathering.

A deep plum-red sheen explodes from the splatter, and is also visible on the edging of written strokes in the wet, medium nib that I use for testing. It adds both definition and decoration.

Pleasing and punchy!

This is a beautiful, vibrant blue in both the brilliant lighter areas, and more saturated, darker areas. It’s a very nice choice for an everyday blue, and 3 Oysters are a company to watch. 아주 좋아요 (very nice)!
