KWZ inks perform wonderfully, and Green Gold is no exception. When I ordered this one, I actually meant to get Green Gold 2. Green Gold 2 is definitely the greener of the KWZ Green-Gold inks, but this Green Gold is far closer to the actual name.

KWZ Ink El Dorado - light and dark shades

KWZ Green Gold is a dark, forest black-green in writing on many papers, but on others it lightens a bit with slightly more influences of tan brown. It shades nicely from mid-green khaki to a deeper gold-green. It presents a well-defined line on standard fountain pen-friendly papers, dries quickly, and behaves well.

In my experience, KWZ inks are consistently enjoyable. The light touch of vanilla that briefly scents the ink always makes me smile. I like this ink, just be careful that you want KWZ Green Gold and not Green Gold #2!
