Perfect Time is a beautiful coral blossom from Taiwan-based LeeMing Ink Studio. This isn’t an easy ink to find. The only place I’ve seen them available is on Shopee.ph. A series of ten inks are available, and most are beautiful, multi-colored shaders. Today we’re looking at Perfect Time.

LeeMing Ink Studio - Perfect Time - Ink range

Perfect Time is a gorgeous, soft, sakura pink-coral. On uncoated papers, it’s almost a pink champagne. It’s delicate with just a slight shading, but it’s very readable at the same time. On coated papers, there’s more shading and color variation. Bolder red pinks develop, as does a lovely peach glow in areas of wetter application. There’s a very strong, dark halo edging that defines strokes and gives them depth and pop.

This is a nice wet ink, and it flows comfortably on the page. Drying ranged from under 10 seconds on uncoated paper to 15 seconds on coated paper. You might be worried about legibility, but don’t be. This is a very usable, very attractive ink.
