Noodler’s Turquoise - Bottle and Swatch Card

A brilliant extrovert in appearance, this blue brings a touch of sun to a cloudy day. The droplets are darker than the ink lays down from a nib.

Such a beautiful medium blue in light and dark areas

However, for me, there is an enormous problem. On many papers, this ink simply does not want to dry. The swatch card shown above shows fast drying, but that was not my experience on any of the coated papers I tested. Now, I don't mean that it takes 60 or 90 seconds to dry, which would be bad enough. With this ink drying can take an eternity! It completely ruins the ink. It's ridiculous.

The splatter is a wonderful blue, but will it ever dry?

Performance just makes this ink unusable for me. It’s a shame, as the color is such a nice, bright, medium blue. I don’t say this very often, but this is an ink that I am confident will not please you.

Do I recommend it? Well, I certainly wouldn’t buy it again! There are far too many similar blues on the market to suffer through this one.
