Kala Nostalgia - Bermuda Mistery - ink drop

Kala Ink’s Bermuda Mistery from the Nostalgia series is the kind of ink that confuses me at first, but then quickly becomes a friend. There is a mystery to this kind of color!

The dusty, pale purple grows more beautiful each time I write with it. It's extremely readable. There isn't a lot of shading, and I wouldn't call it a sheening ink, but there is a slight yellowish shine in areas more heavily inked.

In writing, strokes are generally clean and sharp on most papers, particularly on coated premiums. There was a bit of feather on cheap office copy, but I tested using a wet, medium nib, and finer nibs likely take care of that problem. Drying was quick on all papers, too.

Kala makes a number of interesting greys and off-grey variations in the Nostalgia line, and they're all highly water-resistant! If you're interested in trying some very interesting, very hardy greys, give Kala a try. I really like Kala inks, and I recommend Bermuda Mistery.
