Private Reserve - Sherwood Green
Sherwood Green is a solid performer, and in my experience, that’s not always a guarantee from Private Reserve. It’s consistent, trustworthy, and fuss-free. Under normal writing conditions, it dries reasonably quickly. It produces a nice, honest, dark emerald green with most nibs, and there’s some light shading.
How about that splatter! For a green, it’s an explosion of pink! There is far more sheening than I expected. In writing, there are traces of pink sheen in areas of pooling, and at the edges of some strokes when using a wet and juicy nib.
I've liked some Private Reserve inks, and disliked others, as well. If you are looking for a true green, Private Reserve Sherwood Green is attractive, reliable, and inexpensive. I think it’s a good choice to consider.
