Robert Oster - Tangerine
A lovely, deep orange, this ink is also a very pleasant writer. It's wet, but not overly, and flows well. Strokes are clear and crisp with well-defined edges.
This is a dark, rich orange that leans slightly red-brown in a wet, broad nib. In areas of pooling, there is a deep brown edge, and slight hints of a yellow-ash sheen.
I love orange inks, but orange inks can sometimes have a problem with crusting and caking if left unattended in a pen for too long. I haven’t left Tangerine in a pen for weeks and weeks, but so far, I haven’t had any problems with crusting.
In my opinion, Robert Oster Tangerine is a beautiful, rich orange. It performs well, and it's a good choice for a daily orange ink. I like it!
