Beautiful name - beautiful ink! This is Love & Poetry from Schrift. Schrift is an online retailer specializing in paper products, journals, some really nice acrylic stamps, as well as two store-edition inks. Both of the inks were produced for Schrift by Dominant Industry. The first is a dark green chromoshading ink called Wald, and the second is Love & Poetry.

Love & Poetry is a beautiful, light pink, dusty rose. As you can see, it can be soft and delicate or more vibrant and expressive depending on the paper you use. On some papers, it reminds me of ballet slippers or fallen cherry blossom petals. On others, it shows more energy and verve, and it broadens in range. This is a fantastic shading ink! Strokes swing wildly from light to dark on many of the papers I use for testing. I like the range of moods and personalities in this ink!

Overall, writing performance has been very nice. On most papers, strokes have been sharp with strong edging in the darker, more saturated parts of each stroke. The jump from light to dark in the shading can be gentle or quite abrupt. In terms of flow, it’s neutral, but never dry. Drying times were quite fast, but in writing experience, it hasn’t felt dry at all.
